ABOUT US

Motor City Music Club was founded by J.P. Kraft, Jr. under the name, "Music! Not Mischief USA," in 2018. He was inspired by the work of his friend, Mike Carparelli, of Carparelli Guitars in Toronto, CA, and wanted to bring a similar program to the United States.

From its inception, the heart of the organization has been to help students from all socio-economic and family backgrounds have access to music training and engagement opportunities.

Scientific studies have repeatedly shown that young people who are engaged in music training and music related activities are more successful academically and socially, and have greatly increased mental and emotional well-being.

MCMC gives students the opportunity to express themselves through music, receive training and mentorship from leaders in the industry, earn scholarships for higher education, and build friendships with like-minded students.
